Frida Baby

I’m a sucker for good branding which is what initially drew me to Frida products. But I’ve fallen in love with them beyond their clever marketing because THESE PRODUCTS WORK! Here’s a rundown of my favorite Frida Baby products I use and love on a regular basis and why they live up to the hype:

1. FridaBaby Nosesucker

I know what you are thinking….”EWWW”. But I swear, it totally works and I promise there’s no way the snot could possibly make it to your mouth! This is an absolute must-have for runny-nosed or sick babies. It’s the first thing I’d put on my baby registry and it’s my favorite to gift expecting mamas!

2. FridaBaby Windi

I made an SOS run to the store one night when my baby was inconsolable, desperate to find something to help her. I grabbed these funny devices with a hope and a prayer and HALLELUJAH they did the trick! Turns out my little one was a gassy lass and the FridaBaby Windis helped her pass the gas with ease. Best (funniest) part is that they give off a little whistle when the gas escapes so you know it’s working! Her gassy phase luckily didn’t last too long but the Frida Windis were a life-saver for that time.

3. FridaBaby 3-in-1 Nose, Nail + Ear Picker

This simple tool has been so handy! It helps get the tiny boogers, earwax, and nail dirt out with ease. The way the tool is built helps you safely get into ear and nose holes without being able to stick something in too far. It’s very compact and comes in a little carrying case. I keep it in our diaper bag.

4. FridaBaby Nail SnipperClipper

My little one’s nails grow so fast! Sharp baby nail scratches are the worst (especially when they scratch their own soft baby skin)! Clipping new babies nails is so intimidating but these special safety clippers make it nearly impossible to clip too close. Also, it might seem gimmicky but the handle makes it way easier to hold than other clippers. We use these clippers once a week and I can’t sing their praises enough!

*Please note that pediatricians recommend filing baby’s nails for the first few months of life. The linked pack comes with one curved file!

5. FridaBaby Quick-Read Digital Rectal Thermometer

Did you know that rectal thermometers are the most accurate for reading temps? Having one on hand has been extremely useful when I’m sure my baby is fevering and need a more accurate read. Again, Frida thinks of everything and the shape of this thermometer keeps you from accidentally inserting it too far. It also comes in a carrying case and is super easy to clean. I keep this in the diaper bag with a mini Vaseline, just in case.

*For quicker temperature reads, I use the Goodbaby no touch thermometer

6. Fridababy SkinSoother Bath Brush

My girl is nearly 18 months and I’ve used the Frida baby SkinSoother Bath Brush every bath she’s ever taken! It’s super soft, 100% silicone (doesn’t get gross!), and is great for giving face/hair/body that extra gentle scrub. + it suctions to the tub for easy organization.

*I also have the glove, which has come in handy as she’s gotten older.

7. FridaBaby Basics Kit

I have yet to use a FridaBaby product I haven’t loved. (Don’t even get me started on their postpartum line for moms or I won’t stop gushing over it! Sorry…bad pun…).

I don’t think my Frida collection is complete just yet; I have my eye on the MediFridda which would make giving my baby meds sooo much easier (and cleaner). And I’m really intrigued by the Frida Paci Weaning system! Keep in mind that a lot of their products come in sets like the Basics Kit, which will save you some bucks!

It's a big oops not having this book in your libra It's a big oops not having this book in your library!

The "book fairy" (as we lovingly call the anonymous stranger who has secretly left books on our porch for a year!) delivered this gem at THE PERFECT TIME (we are potty training over here!). No, this book isn't about toilets and such. But it is a beautiful and accessible message about making the most out of any "oops" that might come your way. It has tabs and pulls and all the tricks that tiny hands love and I'm sure you and your littles will enjoy it just as much as we have!
