It’s just a phase
Some of the best advice a mom can take is that it’s all just a phase. The routines you feel you just mastered: a phase. The tantrums that came out of nowhere: a phase. The magical imagination that can turn any object into a castle: a phase. The refusal to eat a food that was yesterday’s favorite: a phase. The perfectly imperfect pronunciation of words: a phase. The middle of the night wake-ups: a phase. The good, the hard, it’s all a phase: it’s fleeting. So stay in the moment, be present for it all, because it really is just a phase but the feelings you have about it create the memories that will last forever.
