My little one is STARTING SCHOOL this month! I am in disbelief that he is old enough for school, but here we are! He is a November birthday so he just missed the cut-off last year. I am so grateful for the extra year we had to be at home, just us two. I’m feeling really emotional about him starting school. It feels like the end of an era. But I know he will thrive and I’m sure I will end up loving that time as well! To make it a little more special for the both of us, I decided to make him a little going to school basket with some fun things in it.
- Basket: I found this absolutely darling basket at Walmart for the best price!
- Time for School Little Blue Truck: We collect all of the Little Blue Truck books so I was excited to see they had a back to school version!
- Pete the Kitty’s First Day of Preschool: I was sold on this one because it was specifically about PRESCHOOL! Both books are so cute!
- Alphabet Cinnamon Cookies: From Trader Joe’s! Check your local TJ’s for these. They’re equally delicious AND cute!
- Toy School Bus: Since my boy loves cars, I knew he would love this school bus! It’s a great price!
- Alphabet Puzzle: The cutest colors and it even has a chalkboard on the back!
