I searched Amazon and Etsy to find a first day of school flag/sign/banner I liked and I just couldn’t find one. So I reached out to the best designer I know, The Ivory Press! Not only did she create this cute, simple banner I was searching for, but she made it the perfect shape! Something I don’t see much of. The size is perfect.
I purchased this pack of 18″ dowels on Amazon to hang the banner on.
I printed The Ivory Press’s design on a 16×20 poster from Office Depot and cut it out.
I attached the poster by using this double-sided tape “snail” then twisting it around the dowel.
It felt like it needed a little something extra so I went and picked out these darling ribbons from Amy’s Boutique in Salt Lake City. I went with primary colors to go along with the back to school theme!
I think it turned out so so cute! Just what I was hoping for!
