“Brave New Mama”<\/a>, the sweetest book!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This book was gifted to me by a dear friend a few months after I gave birth to my daughter. IT IS A TREASURE. It captures the raw beauty of motherhood so perfectly. It’s now my favorite thing to gift a new mom after her baby comes (usually with some flowers and a frozen meal ;). This motherhood journey can rock your world in the best way possible but it can also really wear you down to your most vulnerable and raw self. I’ve turned to this book for comfort and to feel less alone. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I was having one of those real rough mom days a few weeks ago. You know the ones: where no matter how hard you try, you feel like you are falling short in everything: patience, love, time, energy, grace. Motherhood can feel so lonely, so when these thoughts come to surface, it can feel pretty isolating. But when I finally had a moment to myself, I grabbed my Brave New Mama book and dug in. Before I knew it, I had read it cover to cover, tear stained from sobbing. These beautiful words captured so many of the emotions I was feeling, buoyed me up, and edified me. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
