When planning your baby registry, overwhelmed may be a wild understatement. There are lots of options when it comes to where to create your registry. There’s so much to stress about when you’re about to have a baby. Don’t let this be another!! We’ve done all the homework so all you need to do is focus on all the cute baby things you need!
You are probably thinking… WHERE should I register?
We took a poll on our Instagram page on where people registered and Amazon won by a landslide!
2 quick things before we dive in:
- If you are considering registering at a brick and mortar store… I say DO IT! In addition to your Amazon registry, of course. It gives your last minute shoppers a place to get you something you need if they didn’t order something online in time for the shower.
- If you are thinking about using Babylist but would rather use Amazon… HERE is a hack for you! You can create an Amazon Universal Registry where you can add ANYTHING from ANY STORE to your registry!
I may be biased because I registered at Amazon, but I really think people are more willing to purchase from there because majority already have a prime account and don’t have to pay for shipping. They most likely have other things they need to buy anyway!
You can start your Amazon registry, here!
How To Create Your Universal Amazon Registry:
- Open up Amazon Assistant

2. Install on your web browser
3. Click on “Add Extension” on pop up

4. A little “a” will show up in the top right hand corner of your browser. If it’s not there, click on the puzzle piece and click on the pin next to “Amazon Assistant for Chrome”

5. When you are shopping, you can add any item that isn’t on Amazon! For example. This Uppababy Vista Stroller from Nordstrom. Click on “add to list” and this pop up will appear (images below). On this pop up you can add a comment about the item that you’re adding. Then you can add it to your registry if you’ve already created it!

And there you have it!! Shop away!
