“Sometimes the strength of motherhood is greater than natural laws” -Barbara Kingsolver
I came across this quote and it stood out to me on such a deep level. I’ve only been a mom for just over 2 years but there have been some trying & testing times! But the strength of motherhood has truly posed greater than natural laws and has helped me (and continue to help me) through tough times!
If you feel comfortable sharing, I would love to hear about some times you’ve felt this great strength! Maybe your child had multiple illnesses at once and you felt helpless as their little body was fighting for health. Maybe you are a single parent feeling alone. Maybe you have suffered through a loss. Whether that is a child, a family member, or a close friend. Perhaps your child isn’t sleeping well- therefore you’re trying to function on little to no sleep. Maybe your child was given a diagnosis that changed everything for you, your family, and your future. If not any of these, sometimes the day to day tantrums, messes, and the mental load of motherhood can be enough to cause a tearful eye. I know I have been surprised by my own strength throughout motherhood and would love to hear some of your experiences, too!
