We immediately fell in love with Nascondino when we saw their booth at a local market. Their selection of beautiful toys and pre-loved clothing first caught our attention, but then chatting with the owners over DM and email- we fell in love with them as mothers, their mission, goals, and purpose behind it all!
Mary & Emily, the owners of Nascondino are sisters, best friends, and business partners! (We can relate although we aren’t blood sisters ;)) It wasn’t until they both became moms, they realized the small cycle and little sustainability there was in their choices around children’s goods. “We found it was so hard to find these particular items all in one place! So we decided to start that journey. This business has given us the opportunity to understand that small changes, in fact, do matter.”
They only partner with brands that care about our planet and its people. They carefully select timeless, high quality items that can live longer and be passed on to siblings, family, and friends. Most of their current selection is gender neutral to simplify the circular life cycle of the items (genius!) and they have curated a “pre-loved” section of clothing and goods to further their sustainability promise!
The toys we both have from here are extremely high quality, promote open-ended play, and are beautiful. We can’t emphasis our love for them enough!!
